Cristela Alonzo is a American stand-up comedian as well as a producer, writer and actress. Cristela the TV show that began airing in 2014 is her most well-known TV production. The first Latina ever to develop the show, write and produce her own show for a network. She was born in Texas and later moved from Texas to Los Angeles to pursue her profession. She has appeared in guest roles on television shows like Sons of Anarchy and General Hospital. She also wrote the TV series Mind of Mencia. The show also featured her as the host of and featured on "The The View". In addition she has worked in films including The Angry Birds Movie'.
