Mary McCormack was an American actress who is famous for her role as the lead character in TV shows like "Murder One", "The West Wing", "In Plain Sight" and Loaded. Also known for her roles in films which include "Private Parts", "Deep Impact", "True Crime" and 1408. McCormack comes from an unrelated family. Her parents are clinical psychotherapist and the owner of a local ice cream restaurant. She went to Wardlaw-Hartridge School, and following the separation of her parents in 1990 she enrolled at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut where she graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in the field of comparative arts. At the beginning of her career, she had only twelve when she was on stage for the production of an opera called "Amahl's Night People". The actress continued her performances in theatres before landing a role both on the small screen and on the large screen. McCormack is today regarded as one of Hollywood's best artists. She is the mother of three children together with her husband, director/producer Michael Morris.
