Linda Edna Cardellini (n e Lorraine (Hernan) was the daughter of Wayne David Cardellini (a businessman) in Redwood City. Her parents are Italian (from paternal grandsons), Irish (from a mother), German and English. Linda was born in the San Francisco Bay region, California as the youngest out of her four brothers. As a ten-year-old old, she became enthralled by acting when she performed an instrumental role in the Christmas show at her school. The school continued to offer productions and community theater. Linda has graduated from Saint Francis High School Mountain View, California. After she graduated, Linda had to choose between moving in New York or Los Angeles and pursue a theater degree. Linda chose LA. Linda was cast in her first role, in the TV show Bone Chillers (1996). In 1999, she was offered her first role of major importance as Lindsay Weir on the show Freaks and Geeks. The series won her an Emmy Award for Outstanding Casting in a Comedy Series. She played Lindsay Weir, a decathlete who was enrolled at the University of California.

Lily James was born Lily Chloe Ninette Thomson (5 April 1989). She was an English actor. She studied at London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama and began her acting career on the British TV show Just William (2010). Her breakthrough came in 2015 when she played the leading role in Cinderella, a fantasy film. The actress previously appeared as Lady Rose MacClare as part of the period show Downton Abbey. James was then cast as the Countess Natasha Rostova as part of the adaptation of War & Peace (2016). James also appeared in numerous films like Baby Driver (2017) and The Dig -2021. We're Going To Again (2019) as well as Yesterday (2018). Then, in 2022 her character as Pamela Anderson was recognized with an Golden Globe nomination and a Primetime Emmy Award.
