Jana Kramer bio
Jana Kramer gained fame as a performer, actress, and songwriter, when she was a character in the series One Tree Hill. She was Alex during three of the season's final seasons. Jana Kramer's debut country album were featured on episodes of One Tree Hill and helped to push her debut album from 2012 to in the Top 20 of the Billboard 200. Thirty One by 2015 was her follow-up album and climbed to Number Ten. Her decade was rounded out with participation for Dancing with the Stars. The self-doubting Voices saw release in 2021. Born and raised in Rochester Hills Michigan Jana Rae Kramer was raised on country music and would eventually make a record career, but she began her professional life as a performer, who made her screen debut in the 2002 indie horror film Dead/Undead while still in her teen years. Kramer was a guest on episodes for All My Children, CSI: NY and Friday Night Lights in the second season of the show 2007-2008. Kramer was then on TV in the role of Portia Ranson in 90210 from 2008 to 2009, and as Brooke Manning in Entourage in 2009. Kramer joined the cast of CW One Tree Hill in 2009 as Alex Dupre where she stayed up until the end of the show in 2012, about halfway in. Jana Kramer Kramer began her career on One Tree Hill in 2011. Her contract was signed for a record label Elektra Records during this time and released the country-rock song "I I Won't Let You Go" during one episode. The song was later featured on Jana Kramer, her debut album released in the year 2012. It made it to into the Top Five on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart. Kramer continued to appear in films such as Heart of the Country 2013 or Country Crush 2016 which would attract her followers. Kramer has released her sophomore album Thirty One on Warner Music Nashville in October 2015. The album was helped by Kramer's Top Five country song I Got the Boy as well in a duet featuring Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. This album reached third place in the Billboard 200 country charts and at number 10 on the Billboard 200. Starting in September of 2016, her two-month stay on the 23rd series of Dancing with the Stars ended in a fourth-place finish. In the same year, she had a hit adult contemporary track with Straight No Chaser's Feels like Christmas.
