Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira (born May 26th 1977) was born in Campinas, So Paulo. Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) as well as A Indomada (1997) are the most well-known films. Ana Paula Oliveira became a member of the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime (GI-TOC) in March of 2020. She is currently an analyst and team leader for GI-TOC multilateral engagement. She is primarily interested in the criminal market, disappearances and assassinations. Her research interests focus on the effects of organised criminality on human rights, and the laws and policies. Ana Paula has an LL.M. cum ex laude (with distinction) of honors in International Law from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies, Geneva. She also holds the LL.M in Public Law and an MBA in International Relations from Fundacao Getulio Vargas in Rio de Janeiro. Ana Paula is a graduate of The Federal University of Rio de Janeiro with an MAGNACUM LOVE degree in Legal Science as well as Social Sciences. She is a lawyer by training who worked for four years at a public law litigation firm. The past experience she has had also involved helping in roles with non-governmental organisations with their headquarters within Rio de Janeiro and Geneva.
