Anamaria is a Romanian actress. She was awarded with the British Academy Television Award of Best Actress for The Channel 4 Film Sex Traffic. French, German English and Romanian are fluent languages. Her father is a director of the theater at one of Romania's top acting schools. The young Actor Gala Mangalia awarded her the Best Female Actor Award of 2000. In 2008 the European Film Promotion Board recognized her as a European Shooting Star. She taught at the University of Fine Arts Music and Drama George Enescu for four years. bAnamaria Marineca is an Romanian film actress who was born on 1st April, 1978 at Iasi Romania. Anamaria Marinca, an actress who is of Romanian descent, made her screen debut in the Canadian-British television drama Sex Traffic. She won the British Academy Television Award Best Actress award for her performance in this film. Her debut film Sex Traffic won an award from the British Academy of Television, in the category of Best Actress. She also received several awards for her role in 4 Months 3 Weeks 2 Days a Romanian Art Film. She was the lead in Cristian Mugiu's Romanian film "4 luni 3 saptamani e 2 days" (4 3 Weeks, 4 Months and 2 Days) which won her the Palme d'Or award at Cannes Film Festival 2007. The film also won two awards in addition, it was awarded the Cinema Prize of French National Education System (FIPRESCI Prize) as well as the Cinema Prize. In addition, she appeared in Francis Ford Coppola's film Youth Without Youth. In 2008, she played Yasim in the BBC's Five-Episode The Last Enemy. Marinca appeared in The Romanian drama Boogie as well as Oliver Hirschbiegel's highly acclaimed Five Minutes of Heaven. She played Irma in Fury 2014, in which she played an German known aunt for Emma.
